Do You Accept Insurance?

We are an out of network practice. This means that if you have out of network benefits with your insurance, we can provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. Alternatively, you may also be able to use a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA). We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider prior to scheduling a call with us to see if you have out of network benefits for mental health treatment.

What are Your Fees & How Do You Process Payment?

The fee for Ariel Wallins, LCSW is $250 per 50-minute session. We accept all major credit cards for payment through our secure payment system, Simple Practice. Cancellation policy: if an appointment is canceled or no-showed with less than 24 hours notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Are You Seeing Clients In-Person?

We are currently seeing clients both virtually through a telehealth platform as well as in person.

Where is Your Office Located?

We are located at 113 University Place (13th Street and University). Our office is conveniently located right near the Union Square subway station.

Do You Only Accept Clients Who Are Located in New York?

We currently accept clients in the New York area as well as Connecticut. We are working on expanding our licensure in the future.

How Many Sessions Do I Have to Commit To?

The amount of sessions someone might benefit from will depend on each person individually. When you first start meeting with a therapist, it can take several sessions to get comfortable with your therapist and get the momentum going, however, clients are not required to commit to any amount of sessions.
