Fees & Frequently Asked Questions
Here you can find clear information about the $250 session fee, out-of-network insurance, superbills, sliding-scale availability, online therapy, and the free 15-minute consultation. If something is not answered here, you are welcome to ask when you reach out.
What Is the Session Fee?
The standard fee is $250 per session. Payment is due for each session according to the practice’s payment policies. If you have questions about the fee or want to ask whether any reduced-fee openings are currently available, you can bring that up during the initial consultation.
Do You Accept Insurance?
The practice is out of network with all insurance plans, which means insurance is not billed directly. A superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
Reimbursement varies by plan, so it is a good idea to contact your insurer directly to ask about your coverage, deductible, and reimbursement rate.
Is Sliding Scale Available?
A limited number of sliding-scale or reduced-fee openings may be available depending on current capacity. Availability is not guaranteed and can change over time. If the standard fee would be difficult for you, you are welcome to ask about current options when you reach out for a consultation.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Availability changes as clients begin and end treatment, so the most accurate way to find out whether there are openings is to submit a consultation request. If the practice does not currently have an appropriate opening, I will let you know. You can also ask about timing or anticipated availability when I follow up.
-
For online therapy, you must be physically located in New York or Connecticut at the time of each session because those are the states where I am currently licensed to practice. You do not need to live in the same city as the practice, and no travel to an office is required.
-
The practice is fully virtual at this time, so there is no office location for in-person sessions. I may return to offering in-person therapy in the future, but the current website and scheduling process reflect online therapy only for clients located in New York and Connecticut.

Start by submitting a request for a free 15-minute consultation. I will review your message and follow up about availability and a time to speak. The consultation gives us a chance to briefly discuss what you are looking for, answer questions, and decide whether scheduling a full session feels like the right next step.
